Yummy Rice Cereal
Finally some cooler weather...
Thursday evening Houston saw some rain storms as a "cool" front came through. By Friday, it was somewhat cooler but still into the 90s. We stayed inside playing Friday - Owen and Rachel had fun entertaining each other.
Here is Rachel dancing to her music while Owen enjoys is exersaucer.

On Friday afternoon, Oma and Opa arrived to spend the weekend with us. It was Parish Fair Day so Oma had the day off of school.
Owen showed off his tummy time skills for them.
He loved spending time with his Oma (and Opa, too).
By Saturday morning, the weather was pretty cool - high 60s to low 70s. We took advantage of it and went to the park while Owen stayed home with Wes. Rachel invited Opa and Oma to ride on the train while she drove.
There was a lot of static electricity on the slides. Rachel got shocked once and was careful not to touch the slides after that. It did not stop her from sliding.
After the park, we went to the library. Rachel is a regular so she feels that she can make herself at home.
On Sunday, Owen showed off more tummy time prowess.
He had lots of big smiles for everyone all weekend.
Rachel did not feel like saying "cheese!" for this picture so she and Opa said "pizza!" instead.
Owen fusses in his swing sometimes before falling asleep. Opa figured out the magic trick - if you play with this toy, he will stop crying. It worked many times over the weekend. Good job Opa!!
After Oma and Opa headed out to Louisiana, we went out to the park again. It was impossible to resist this gorgeous weather! We had a little picnic and then played for awhile.
Rachel played on the monkey bars.
She chased her daddy around.
She went on the slide with her daddy.
After that, it was Owen's turn to play with his daddy. We all had a fun time.
