Back to Work

It was finally time for me to start back at work this week after a nice, long leave. We left Rachel with a baby sitter a couple of weeks ago so this was not the first time that I left her, which was good. It was not too bad going back to work, although it is very nice that it is only three days a week and I am back home today for a long weekend.



Rachel had a great time staying with her Grandma this week. She is still too young to really notice that Wes and I are gone so she stayed happy most of the time. It was a big help having Grandma here in the evenings as well because Wes got sick this week and was keeping his distance from Rachel so he did not infect her. Rachel is looking forward to having her Grandma spend another 3 days with her next week!



Other than that, Rachel's favorite things these days are her feet, sticking out her tongue, standing up and smiling.

    Rachel is abolutely the most beautiful grandchild any Opa could hope for. I have made my background picture of her standing up in her mommies lap in a beautiful top on my tiny laptop. I am sorry that we cannot be there because I will be having an angiogram and maybe more surgery. OPA
