My Summer with Tante Angela (by Rachel)

I had a great summer with my Tante Angela!  We had so much fun.

Sometimes, she is a little silly.

She taught me how to wear flip flops

She also helped me brush my teeth (even though I still only have 2 all the way in)

Tante Angela is good at swinging with me.

We got to go lots of fun places this summer.  We traveled to Utopia and also went to play at the arboretum and the Children's Museum.  We also went to Miller Outdoor Theater and one time we even went to the St. Arnold's Brewery!

I like the music in Little Shop of Horrors.

No one let me have the beer at St. Arnold's, but we all had a fun evening anyway.

I liked to learn about nature at the arboretum.

Tante Angela was good at chasing me - I get away quickly when she turns to have her picture taken!

It was hot after all that running so I got carried part of the way.

Tante Angela let me climb up to the top of this all on my own.

Sometimes, we just stayed at home.  I had a great time playing with Tante Angela or spending time with my parents.  Sometimes, people came over to visit us.

I enjoyed watching everyone cook Mexican food for dinner.

It was funny watching Tante Angela and Daddy playing games on the Wii.

My very favorite part of spending the summer with Tante Angela was all the time I got to spend the water.

We swam in the pool.

We splashed in the backyard.

We even played in the river.

I had so much fun!!!

Thank you Tante Angela for spending a fun summer with us!  We hope you have fun back home in Alabama.
