Visit to Utopia

In July, we also had a wonderful trip to Utopia to visit Grandma Kathy and the rest of the family there.  Rachel had a great time playing with Grandma and Butch.  Angela came along as well and she loved her first trip to Utopia.

We had a fun time hiking on the ranch.

On Saturday, we had lunch at the Laurel Tree.  Rachel had a lot of fun playing in their garden.

We all loved the herb garden.

They also had beautiful flowers.

In the afternoon, we went for a swim.  This was probably Rachel's favorite part of the visit.

Tante Angela enjoyed swimming, too.

After swimming, we went to visit Granny.  Rachel had fun playing with the toys she found there and watching the birds.

On Sunday, we went to church and had yummy food and the potluck lunch.

Rachel really liked riding on the swing with Grandma.

On the way out of town, Rachel wanted one last splash in the river so we stopped at the Fisher camp.  We tried to just get Rachel's feet wet, but we ended up just taking her clothes off and letting her get as wet as she wanted.

We were sad to leave such a beautiful place and are looking forward to our next visit - UtopiaFest at the end of September!
